This evening, I had the honour of gracing the launch of a remarkable book authored by the inspiring young Hafsa Abdullahi Athar from Wajir County. The event, held at a Nairobi hotel, marked the unveiling of her second publication titled “It’s Either Now or Never.”
Hafsa, a second-year student at Mt. Kenya University and the CEO of Hashnaz – The Express Bakes, is a true embodiment of youth potential and ambition. Her achievements are not only a source of inspiration to the hundreds of university and college students who attended the launch, but also a testament to what can be achieved through dedication and focus. Yes, for Hafsa, it’s either now or never – and she is clearly choosing now.
During the event, I challenged the youth to spend less time on unproductive activities and instead tap into their God-given talents. I emphasized the importance of using social media positively, and encouraged support for young people in career guidance, talent development, and community initiatives. The Event was also attendend by James Mwangi Muturi, CEO of Fortune Bestbuys Africa.
Congratulations once again to Hafsa on this impressive milestone in both her writing and entrepreneurial journey. I wish her continued success in all her future endeavours.
